SINCE THE BAND’S FORMATION, they have released two full length albums, two EP’s, and they’ve toured the west coast. Their first album, The Superhero Wins, was released in July 2018 with Peter Peng providing lead vocals before returning to China to work for A&R at Tencent Music. Their debut album was followed up by Gods • Martyrs • Ghosts • Monsters in July 2020, with Amber Rae taking the lead vocal spot. They released their EP, Complicated Allies, in June 2022.

THEIR LATEST EP, The Caged Goliath, recorded at London Bridge Studio, hit the market in October 2024.

TIN FOIL TOP HAT is currently working on projects with their record label, 8th Direction Records, to add new life and new civilization to the Seattle music scene. They will be in the studio in 2025 to record new music. Check the calendar for upcoming live streams and future performances.

AMBER RAE is our talent on the mic: the lead vocalist of Tin Foil Top Hat and co-host of the True Crime and True Chaos podcast, Crime, Wine & Chaos. She has a blanket fort in her living room and doesn’t want to talk about it.

JEREMY WILLIAMS picked up his first guitar at age 9 and started playing old labor songs and Willie Nelson tunes. He studied classical guitar at Whitworth University, and is now a prison abolitionist and motorcycle enthusiast. When he’s not roaming the streets on his BMW, he can be found hermitting away in his garage.

EDDY FEY is a bassist from the deep south who escaped to Seattle and found home. He has vast experience with several styles from rock, fusion, folk, Cuban, jazz, to Arabian minor scale bands with belly dancers. When he’s not hermitting away in his studio, he can be found roaming the streets with his dogs, Kelly and Layla.

PAT MURPHY started playing drums as a teenager. He’s enjoyed performing locally with a number of bands over the years, and he’s rediscovered his passion for drumming after retiring from his job with the county.

GARY BOON is Seattle’s foremost rock harpist. Hailing from Malaysia, he brings sophistication and depth to Tin Foil Top Hat’s sound.
